When you outsource your LBS portfolio to CellTrack, we will deploy, commission and subsequently manage all the elements necessary for any Cellular Network Operator (CNO) to introduce LBS as a VAS for their subscribers . All of that in as little as sixty days.

CellTrack LBS is based on (enhanced) Cell-ID location technology and requires minimal core-side integration with the STP only, thereby guaranteeing Network integrity. Service is provided on a white–label basis, and may also be customised to the CNO's requirements. It is possible to deploy CellTrack LBS in parallel at CNOs that may already have a legacy LBS infrastructure in place.

The Network security and integrity of our partner CNOs is paramount. This is why (except for the vital core–side GMLC installation), all CellTrack applications and services are hosted on our own secure world–class Cloud. This not only enhances service reliability, but also effectively eliminates any security risks for our partner CNOs.

The CTC (CellTrack Cloud) enables us to be more agile in responding to CNO needs, and also reduces costs, that are then passed on to subscribers. This enables us to more quickly achieve the critical mass of subscribers needed to markedly enhance CNO ARPU.

CellTrack Suite is the most comprehensive and powerful LBS application available today. In addition to the basic Friend Finder services, it also incorporates fun and exciting features including but not limited to real-time interactive Social Networking, geofence Alerts, Couponing & Loyalty and more; all of which help you to enhance ARPU.

CellTrack Suite is multichannel, and subscribers can access it via smart phone App, web and/or SMS (via Short/Long Code).

CellTrack has been in the LBS business for over a decade, and our team has a combined experience in this industry of over a hundred years. We know what works, and what does not. Fact is, most LBS deployments undertaken by CNOs have been commercial failures because the model is almost never sustainable long term.

The only model proven to have worked anywhere is the Outsource model, where CNO investment in Capex & Opex is ZERO. That is why this is the only model we work on. CellTrack does not sell its solution.

CellTrack was formed in the U.K. in early 2004 as a joint venture with FollowUs Ltd., the pioneers of LBS services at the time. We subsequently relocated our global headquarters to Singapore, from where we are able to more easily focus on our core target customers in the emerging markets worldwide.

We are passionate about LBS and envision a world where LBS applications cross-operability, and Cellular Network Operators (CNO) interoperability exists. Where needed, we also typically play the role of an LBS consolidator, providing greater revenue-enhancing opportunities to CNOs at no extra cost or risk.

CellTrack follows strict privacy rules and all our LBS applications are fully compliant with the Code of Practice for Location Based Services. Voluntary profile information that is collected is not sold to third parties but used exclusively by us to enhance the subscriber experience.

Privacy remains the key element in ensuring sustained growth of the LBS industry. The (enhanced) Cell­-ID location technology we use, has proven to be far more acceptable to subscribers as it gives location only accurate to about a 50meters at best.
